
Portes des Iris is part of the sumptuous estate of the Château de Vullierens. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside. It is 20 minutes from Lausanne and 40 minutes from Geneva. The main building overlooks the famous Iris Gardens and offers a beautiful view of the Alps and the Mont Blanc.
A splendid extremely large 16th century farmhouse which was completely restored with charm and elegance in 1998, including the latest in high tech equipement.
The large terraces, gardens and the formal courtyard make the complex unique and capable of handling events of every size and configuration.
An exceptionally large private terrace was especially created for marquees that can seat up to 1000 people for banquets or be used for a variety of other purposes.
The estate has several parking lots which can accommodate hundreds of cars and very large buses. A helipad is on site.
The building’s original and superb décor was created by the chatelaine and artist Dorianne Destenay Bovet. It includes six superb individually designed wrought iron doors and specially designed. The main building includes 5 interchangeable reception rooms which together can accommodate 24 to 700 persons. They include a high tech conference room, which is ideal for private screenings and conferences. Large medieval wooden beams are featured throughout. Two additional rooms are available in annexes as well as a barn which can be used for thematic the parties, cocktails or support functions.
